The Hydra LV is a slightly smaller version of the Hydra, for people with a light to medium build.
Don’t be fooled by LV (Low volume). Indeed, with my 80+ kg it fits me better than the Hydra which is a bit wide on me. Perhaps that’s why it’s being released as a new kayak for 2024, given the Hydra’s huge popularity as well. At 10cm shorter and 3cm narrower, the Hydra LV is a great addition that we’re very happy about.
The design of the Hydra is borrowed from Wave Sport’s white water kayaks, given the complex hull shape, comfortable seat, comfortable knee support and stability. But this is already a kayak, capable of carrying enough luggage and that could take you safely and quickly over significant distances into the sea. Hydra is capable of speed due to its relatively long waterline, but it is also a very stable kayak.
Indeed, as the name suggests, this kayak has many “heads”, many advantages and is universal!
Equipment: Touring seat with an adjustable backrest and crank mechanism for lifting the thigh up to 7.5 cm for comfort and better contact with thigh braces; unique adjustable hip supports; adjustable supports for hips with soft pads; three luggage compartments with the best type of hatches, available in the market, easy to close; skeg and rudder option; metal lock bracket; two belts on the stern for rescue using a paddle float; reflective side ropes and deck bungees.
