Aruna is a lightweight kayak, maneuverable and very fast! It is made of ABS (PriLite) material, which combines the strength of polyethylene with the hardness of fiberglass!
Aruna is suitable for people with light and medium physique who are looking for the opportunity to travel longer distances with less effort.
Aruna has a more pronounced rocker, which is not so typical for Prijon kayaks, but this time great maneuverability is required at this relatively big length. That’s why the kayak turns great and reacts quickly during leaning and with a raised skeg. When the skeg is lowered and you need not maneuverability but speed, the tracking is uncompromising! This kayak is really fast!
It looks quite chic, sleek and with a very good design, but not only the good look has been the goal, but every bend and curve has a function: For example, the sloping deck on both sides in front of the cockpit helps people with low angle paddling style and beginners to not hit the paddle in the kayak, and the slightly V-shaped bottom and boards with a multi chines profile give great stability when maneuvering whit leaning and bracing.
We recommend this kayak for people between 60 and 90 kg if you carry a lot of luggage, although it is also suitable for heavier people at the cost of some loss of maneuverability.
Made with PriLite technology, the Aruna is more impact resistant than composite kayaks, while being smooth, lightweight and deformation-resistant.
