Maximus Centurion is the latest addition to the popular and award-winning Maximus PFD series.
Centurion is a type 5 life jacket that includes a dynamic suspension system (DSS). The DSS has wide, contoured straps that allow the independently suspended front flotation panel to stay always close to the paddler’s chest and move with it.
Centurion is as convenient as its predecessors, but with additional storage capacity and a redesigned top pocket that is more affordable. The vest comes standard with the Belly Pocket accessory, which has three pockets for essentials and will hold a VHF radio and telephone. In addition, this pocket can be removed if you do not need it for the type of kayak trip you have chosen.
The vest is made of Gaia foam and is equipped with a quick-release safety belt with an O-ring at the waist. The straps are designed to support the weight of the paddler if it needs to be pulled out of the water.
Centurion is approved by USCG, Transport Canada and the European Union (ISO).
