The double fliece lined collar, the adjustable hood and the latex cuffs on the wrists will prevent the penetration of water and you will be able to enjoy your walk and paddling regardless of the weather.
Bora is a jacket with 20 000 mm. watertightness and breatable membrane. The double waist allows you to hold the spray skirt between the two layers. Thus, even if the water seeps through the capillary path to the waist (with a neoprene spray skirt), you remain completely dry. In combination with pants like the Atom, you get a semi-dry suit: even if you fall into the water, the water will take a long time to soak, plenty of time to go ashore or get back in the boat.
The jacket has a double collar that opens in warmer weather for better ventilation.
The inner collar is made of Exoskin® and fastens with Velcro. Exoskin is a revolutionary material based on aliphatic polyurethane, soft and pleasant to the touch, elastic, waterproof and UV-resistant. It has many advantages over latex: wearing comfort, much longer life and does not cause an allergic reaction. It is also used in medical prostheses and orthoses, bicycle seats, etc.
