Nova Shoes are all that a kayaker can dream about if he or she goes kayaking in cold water. After long time and many times freezing feet we “discovered” them for our personal use.
They are tall enough to get into the kayak on water without getting wet on your feet. Unlike the wet neoprene, water does not penetrate through the fabric. If you wear thermal socks below or even normal socks, you will not feel the cold even if you are standing on snow due to the well-insulated and lined soft sole. You don’t feel the cold of the water either.
The shoes are flexible enough in order the toes to have a good feel on the pedals when paddling with a rudder. The heel has a low profile to keep the boots volume low and to fit in the area of the footrests.
